Klymenko A. Surgical treatment of chronic pancreatitis.

The dissertation deals with an important clinical problem - improvement of the chronic pancreatitis surgery results by means of investigating peculiarities of the clinical findings considering etiology and of developing the indications to surgery and parenchyma saving techniques introduction.In the remote period the exocrine and endocrine functions and life quality were significantly better after parenchyma preserving type of surgery. 50 (92,6 %) had good results (Р<0,05), 4 (7,4 %) - satisfactory (Р<0,05), 0 - bad results in parenchyma saving group as opposed to 26 (53,1 %) with good results , 16 (32,7 %) - satisfactory (Р<0,05), 7 (14,2 %) - bad results in resectional group.
