Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of the effects induced abortion have on future reproductive losses as well as the issues of preservation and restoration of the reproductive health of women after abortion by developing the method of prevention and by improving the tactics of conservative and surgical treatment of reproductive health problems. For the first time, based on epidemiological studies conducted in different country regions, the effects of induced abortion on the occurrence of spontaneous abortion were revealed, reproductive health condition after induced abortion was assessed, specific weight of women with reproductive disorders after abortion was estimated within the hospital morbidity database. The condition of the target organs was also evaluated based on the study of clinical course, characteristics of viral and bacterial load, hormonal profile and immune homeostasis in women with reproductive disorders after abortion. Histological, immunohistochemical and receptive features of endometrial tissue and its morphofunctional state were assessed with the aim of determining the role of chronic inflammation in women with the above-mentioned disorders. The concept of pathogenetic mechanisms of reproductive health disorders was defined and the role of chronic inflammation is emphasized as one of the leading factors of incoordination systemic effects on the reproductive system of women. The feasibility of antibiotic therapy before or during the abortion to prevent genital inflammatory diseases and disorders of the reproductive function was scientifically based and proved. The proposed integrated phased approach to health care and rehabilitation which took into account reproductive intentions of women yielded an adequate correction of reproductive function.
