Savluk S. Shareholders capital in the banking management system

The dissertation is devoted to the research of nature and core channels of usage of banks shareholders capital for the stable and effective functioning of Ukrainian banks in the modern global unstable economic environtment. In the dissertation the theoretical and methodological pillars of shareholder's capital functioning as a base factor of Ukrainian banks stabilizing system have been grounded. The nature, purposes, principles of classification and specific features of shareholder's capital turnover were revealed, the priorities of capital adequacy ratio over others indicators were outlined. The comparison analyses of the tools for capital management was done, advantages and disadvantages of different sources of its forming and channels of its influence on market value, financial resources and risks of the bank activity were revealed. The research of modern style of capital management systems was executed and levers of influence on capital using profit, liquidity, effectiveness and motivation were identified. The set of measures for improvement of the shareholder's capital management systems with differentiation for stable and unstable economy environment had been fixed. The special focus of research is on the relationships between bank capital and liquidity level. The necessity of inclusion liquidity to the banks stabilizing process as a second pillar has been proven.
