Essay

The dissertation generalises manifold experimental data and natural observations in local scour problem. Many experiments, cocerning flow structure in the local score region near bridge abutments, spur - dikes and in other cases, were performed. The theoretical basis of this work is grounded on 3 - D Reinolds equations system closed with the aid of k - turbulence model. Solving procedure realises with the aid of spliting method. The turbulent convection - diffusion equation for sediment particles distribution and also Poisson equation for pressure distribution are added to Reynolds system.
