Savon I. Diagnostics and treatment of the complicated diabetic foot syndrome.

1321 patients were evaluated and treated with complicated DFS, for the period from 2005 to 2013. Classification of surgical complications of DFS (system CZE) was proposed, which involves the formation of diagnostics and treatment strategy, prognosis and volume of surgical care. The study of microcirculation and blood flow revealed the most typical and authentic violations enabled the screening and determination of surgical tactics. The algorithms and causal empirical antibiotic therapy were developed. Disorders of cellular and humoral immunity in patients with sepsis are identified. Thanks to the improvement of existing diagnostic and treatment algorithms was able to increase the number of "minor" amputations, to keep supporting function of the foot, to reduce the number of "high" amputations, to reduce mortality from sepsis and postoperative mortality.
