Veselovska N. Occupational risk factors and prevention of eye diseases of vascular and endocrine origin (clinical-experimental study). - Manuscript. The manuscript contains theoretical generalization and a new solution of scientific problems of preservation of visual functions of working population which realized on establishment of patterns of morphological and functional changes in the visual analyzer under the influence of professional and biomedical factors as risk factors for their development. Scientific basis for the present approach was developed on the differential hygiene and preventive health measures for the prevention of eye disease, vascular endocrine origin. Conducted hygienic, epidemiological, clinical, ophthalmological, biochemical, physiological and basic methods of research based on the necessity to determine the influence of the particularity of the professional activity in a complex impact of biomedical factors in the development of vascular and endocrine diseases of the eye and the mechanisms of ischemic injury at the cellular level. The results of these study revealed the morphological and functional changes in the retina that appeared under the complex influence of professional psychological stress and biomedical factors as risk factors for their development. These data allowed to develop and to provide the scientific justification for the modern approach based on the differential hygiene and medical care measures for the prevention of eye disease of vascular and endocrine origin.
