Essay

The purpose of this dissertation is development of a new conceptual and logical data model as a subset of a relational model, based on a relational framework (a framework of relations), and also the analysis and development of a framework algorithm of construction of non-abnormal database schemes that have a high degree of modifiability. This dissertation offers a solution of the problem of synthesis of non-abnormal database schemes for arbitrary abstract domains. Developed were the theoretical foundations of a framework data model and a framework methodology of the design of application schemes, and not only for databases. Investigated and offered is a framework algorithm of modeling of abstractions (generalizations, associations, recursive relations, temporal data, etc.) that provides the modeling of semantics that doesn't put the relational data model beyond the limits of Godel's inconsistency due to its unjustified expansion. For modeling of relations in real-time, an algorithm of minimization of connection operations was obtained, that uses background tables instead. The dissertation justifies the replacement of P. Chan's ER-diagram with a R-diagram where relations play the main role. The existence of CASE-technology, based on a non-listing principle of application synthesis, was proved experimentally.
