The dissertation is dedicated to the science explanation of theoretical and methodological basis of improvement of state regulation of modernization processes in an industrial complex of Ukraine and respective practical recommendations. It is investigated evolution of sights at the nature and character of modernization of system of state regulation of industrial development. Theoretical positions to definition of essence and the industrial development maintenance, as object of state regulation are generalised. Foreign experience of state regulation of industrial development is investigated. Scientifically-is proved necessity of integrated approach of system of modernization of system of state regulation of industrial development.
