Essay

Object - intra-abdominal hypertension and its effect on the postoperative course of acute intestinal obstruction (AIO) and acute widespread peritonitis (AWP); goal - to improve the outcomes of patients with AIO, as well as AWP by preventing the development and treatment of abdominal compression syndrome, based on the identified factors etiopathogenetical of this postoperative complication; methods - general clinical, biochemical, microbiological, morphological, instrumental, experimental, pathomorphological, statistics; Results - experimentally proven positive impact of decompression of the abdominal cavity by AIO and AWP on the functional activity of the internal organs and their microbial contamination; estimated value of intra-abdominal pressure and the incidence of various degrees of intra hypertension by AIO, depending on its level of mechanism, duration of disease, as well as the AWP, given its stage, the degree of severity, the fluid nature of the abdominal cavity, the area of distribution; A strong direct correlation between the level of intra-abdominal pressure, determined just before the surgery, during the simulation laparotomy wound closure and indicators of the first 5 days of the early postoperative period; demonstrated positive effects of the presence of temporary colostomy, resection of the small bowel or the level of intra-abdominal pressure and the incidence of intra hypertension after performing surgery on AIO and AWP; branch – medicine.
