A particular attention is being paid to the nature of genre and stylistic modifications and transformations in the literary practice, and semantic dependence of the childhood and youth fiction on the author's aesthetic will, genre inertia, semantic structure of the period, etc. Literary fairy tales texts of the 2nd half of the XX c. are systematized due to their functional and thematic types, variations of fairy tales integrity with other genres (novel, legend, yarn, parable, and short story), means of incorporation as well as functions of the cut-in fairy tales in the main text.
