The thesis provides a new solution of scientific and practical problems of angioneurology for optimizing the diagnosis and more rational primary ischemic strokes' management in abdominally obese patients by identifying clinical and functional characteristics of the disease, neuroimaging structural cerebral characteristics, systemic features of post-ischemic inflammatory response, endocrine and humoral peculiarities, single nucleotide polymorphisms distributions' of proinflammatory cytokines and adiponectin functional alleles.
