In the thesis, we have shown the relevance of the problem of fundamentalization of professional training of future teachers of mathematics, clarified and defined the important research concept of "fundamentalization of education", "fundamentalization of professional training", "fundamentalization of professional education", "fundamental mathematical education". We have also developed and grounded the conceptual foundations of fundamentalization of professional training of future teachers of mathematics. These foundations cover methodological, theoretical and methodological concepts. We have presented and explained a structural and functional model of fundamentalization of professional training of future teachers of mathematics.
