The object - nature and characteristics of the relationship between the state and the Church; the aim is the study of Church-state relations in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe; methods systematic, comparative,structural and functional ; the novelty is proved that the absolute distinction between the Church and the modern state is not a necessary condition for democratic development; the results can be used in the formation of the state strategy in the field of interaction with religious organizations and centers; embedded in the research field, teaching courses in political science, sociology, history, religion, political ideology and psychology.
