Dissertation is devoted to the scientific substantiation of methodological and methodical approaches to toxicological-hygienic assessment of tank mixtures of pesticides and the establishment of regulations for safe application of pesticides and their mixtures in the integrated systems of protection of vegetable crops. As a result of toxicological study of 15 tank mixtures of pesticides used in olericulture, it was found that 10 of them are moderately hazardous (III Class of hazard in accordance with the hygienic classification of pesticides), 5 - hazardous (II Class of hazard). Cumulative properties in the assessment criterion "death of animals" are absent, functional cumulation of the integrated indicators of the organism state inherent to 4 mixtures. Toxicodynamics character of mixtures in subchronic experiment determined their belonging to certain chemical groups and manifested by changes of prooxidant-antioxidant balance indices, blood system, functional status and structure of the liver, kidneys and heart. Scientifically substantiated and developed methodological approaches to sanitary supervision for application of tank mixtures and combined pesticides in olericulture. Following the developed methods, hygienic studies were conducted and the assessment of the potential hazard was given from the standpoint of health, nutrition and ecohygiene of use 15 tank mixtures of pesticides in olericulture. 60 hygienic standards of substance content in air, water, soil and food were scientifically substantiated. There was identified and recommended for early diagnosis of intoxication a set of indicators that the most early and objectively reflect the presence, nature and depth of the pathological process. Reasonable allowable daily dose (ADD) for man of 3 new substances - S metolahlor, thiamethoxam and fluazynam were substantiated.
