Essay

The thesis presents complex investigation of verbal codes reflected in cultural legal informativity of Ukrainian folklore text. There have been worked out theoretical foundations of linguistic culturelogical analysis of verbalized semantic complexes, which unite legal subjectivity, legal consciousness and legal capacity in folk epic and lyrics. The units that present coded in folk massive signs, denoting ethnic legal culture in family, military, administrative, labour and criminal spheres, have been defined and systematized. It has been stated that legal subjectivity of lingual signs serves the base of cultural legal informativity of a folklore construct, because exactly on the base of comprehended personality we observe the rise of the ideas on the levels of legal consciousness and capacity, which, in its turn, correlates with philosophic legal categories (order, breaking of order, restoring of order). The notion of folklore legal linguistic conceptual field in Ukrainian linguistics made it possible to review the traditional schemes that describe folk poetic vocabulary, introduce the new method of matrix modelling of linguistic cultural phenomena and identify the parameters of lingual fixation of the elements with legal knowledge in folk tales, dumas, songs and ballads.
