Essay

The hospital period of STEMI in persons with occupational hazards (OH) was characterized by a more frequent occurrence of recurrence of MI, acute left ventricular aneurysm and thrombus formation, ventricular paroxysmal tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, life threatening ventricular arrhythmias (LTVA), p <0.05. The central role in mechanisms of increased risk of LTVA in patients with OH had autonomic imbalance, heterogeneity of ventricular repolarization, and more frequent and longer episodes of painless myocardial ischemia. Cardiomyocytes near scars in regions of chronic aneurysms were exposed to hibernation, apoptosis, and secondary necrosis more often in persons with OH. Ventricular remodeling with systolic and diastolic dysfunction and systemic immunoinflammatory activation were more pronounced in persons with OH (р<0,0001).
