The dissertation is devoted to development and disclosure of fundamental principles of discursive approach from the standpoint of what the analysis of genesis and development of concepts of social order and social integration in contemporary sociological theories is possible, examined in the example of neofunctionalism and poststructuralism. History of sociological theorizing represented as a deployment of the discourse of social science through the development of concepts of social order and social integration as defining abstractions of sociological theory, become a thematic center around which the corresponding of various styles of sociological theorizing is organized. The author proved the ability of conceptions of social order and social integration fix the ontological challenges acting as a specific marker to indicate the cognitive field of social science. The analysis allowed to reveal the specifics of conceptualize and identify the main development strategy of formulation and solution the problem of social order by means of modern sociological theories presented by such directions of theorizing as neofunctionalism and poststructuralism. The concept of modem sociological theory as a discursive formation revealed and demonstrate some common elements inherent in those directions of theorizing, while fixing the specificity and uniqueness of each author's theoretical approach that represent defined directions.
