This thesis is devoted to the formation and development of procedural law in Ukraine in the X century ? 20-ies of XX century. The questions of the origin of procedural law in the age of Kievan Rus and historical specificity of procedural rules in the Polish-Lithuanian period were found out. It is examined the originality of forms of Ukrainian procedural law, the various stages of the process of the Ukrainian lands setting that were part of the Russian Empire.
