Essay

The thesis is devoted to the influence of transition elements impurities on the optical and electrophysical properties of zinc chalcogenides crystals, determination of the scheme of optical transitions, as well as diffusion parameters of these impurities in single crystals of ZnS, ZnSe, ZnTe. It was first detected and identified a series of absorption, photoconductivity and photoluminescence lines of Ti, V, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni ions at the visible and near IR-region, was discovered. The diffusion parameters and diffusion mechanisms of the investigated impurities in the ZnS, ZnSe, ZnTe crystals are calculated.
