Myronenko M. Mechanisms of government regulation of social and economic development of Ukraine's regions

Theoretical and methodological principles of working out and implementing government regulation of economic development are devised in the dissertation; relevant principal trends are defined; problems of functioning and development of Vinnytsia region are systematised; the state of the regulatory support of governmental influence on the solution of their problems and mechanisms of governmental regulation and tools of governmental policy for activating economic development are analysed. Ways to improve the process of working out and implementing government regulation of social and economic development are suggested. The mechanism of its introduction is worked out. Cooperation of the local authority with entrepreneurs and the public as major subjects of the social and economic sphere is considered. The author defines ways of strengthening balances of budgetary policy as to securing steady development of the region. The recommendations for supporting and enhancing investment and innovation development of the region, solving its urgent problems, using its existing capacity as well as new approaches to the formation and implementation of governmental policies for the further active social and economic development are worked out.
