The objective of the study is the detective practice in the Modern Culture; the goal is to determine anthropological status of detective practices and their functional capacity; the methods are the following: anthropological interpretation, anthropological reduction, contextual analysis, dialectical, historical-genetic, structural and functional analysis; the novelty is the foundation of a new trend of modern philosophical and anthropological research - a double hermeneutic conceptualization of detective practices as the models of human quality testing in the contexts of everyday life, where a man realizes himself/herself as homo immunologicus; the results will help clarify the status of cultural and anthropological of detective practices in the life of modern complex-structural societies, they can be used in the strategies of humanization of professional detective practices, as well as in the formation of anthropologically oriented legal culture and culture of freedom, also in educational work with students and postgraduate students, in teaching special courses on philosophical anthropology, philosophy of culture, special courses on legal anthropology; the field is the philosophical anthropology, philosophy of cult
