Ostashevskyi S. Theoretical principles and practical techniques and the increasing of efficiency of system of "car - driver - road"

The thesis is devoted to the solution of scientific and practical problem of development of techniques of driving a car as a vehicle regarding its functioning within the system "car-driver-road" in the equation of increasing of efficiency of vehicle usage and road safety. To solve this problem we have studied driver's activity in the system of "car - driver - road" concerning the peculiarities of its functioning on "observation" mode on the particular route and movement direction. To determine the indices of driver's perception of movement parameters we developed the conceptual model of car driving. We used the factorial analysis on the basis of principal component method and determined principal factors which affect a number of car accidents. Also we developed the indices of efficiency of system "car - driver - road" and improved the techniques and models of its estimation. Moreover, we have studied the techniques and means of driving training and experimental verification of functioning of system "car - driver - road". To check the reliability and efficiency of these techniques and means we have conducted the comparative analysis of success in training of control and experimental groups of drivers.
