Object - various forms of acute pancreatitis (AP) and its complications; goal - improve the treatment of patients with acute pancreatitis by studying the mechanisms of its development in the experiment, the definition of genetically determined predictors of adverse course, the development of new informative diagnostic methods, probable prediction, the development of effective methods of complex treatment and prevention of complications; methods - clinical, laboratory, biochemical, histological, bacteriological, immunoassay, immunology-histochemical, genetic, spectrophotometric, photoluminescent, instrumental, mathematical, statistical and analytical; results – the first time studied the distribution R122N-gene polymorphism and PRSS1 N34S-gene polymorphism SPINK residents of Chernivtsi region suffering AP; first proved the role of oxidative modification of proteins in the mechanisms of development and progression of acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP); first shown Phase changes in the activity of the fibrinolytic system in the ANP; the first time shows the changes in the optical properties of the plasma of venous blood from the nature of the lesion of the pancreatic parenchyma; scientifically grounded therapeutic tactics in various forms of AP; branch – medicine.
