The dissertation focuses on the topical problem of optimisation of instrumental performance preparation of a future music teacher as a highly professional and competitive specialist able to orient his work on creativity, innovation, developing the high level of instrumental performance skills, competence, willingness to flexibility, original problem solving, quick processing of large amounts of educational information as important traits of the teacher's professionalism. Founded on specialised literature analysis, practical experience examination and generalisation there is the established need for developing and introducing into practice a methodical system of instrumental performance preparation of future music teacher based on the introduction of major scientific approaches as methodological principles of the researched phenomenon and as major causes for achieving the highest professional level by the students.
