Essay

The thesis is concerned with a complex research of the sectoral structure of economy according to a three-sector model based on interdisciplinary analysis, within which the methods of the economic theory were combined with theoretical approaches in the fields of sociology and social psychology, culturology and political science, which permitted to study the sectoral structure of economy not only in the light of technical and technological changes but with consideration of shifting in the population social structure, peculiarities of economic entities' behavior formed due to socio-cultural environment and political influence. The development of the economy structuring concept was analyzed and the author's definitions of "national economy" and "national economy structure" were given based on the "essence-content-result" method of categorial device construction. The relation between the sectoral economy structure based on the three-sector model and the stage of economic development under globalization conditions was described; the characteristic features of a divergent character of the sectoral structure of countries with transformation economies were determined. The objective laws of the economy sectoral structure formation were revealed and its factors were classified by quantitative and qualitative characteristics. It was proved that these factors permit to analyze the economy sectoral structure according to the model of "the whole" and the model of "functioning". It was determined that there is a relation between the sectoral structure of national economy and its institutional environment, which determines the dependence of sectors development on the socio-cultural values and value orientation prevailing in the social consciousness. It was revealed that when shaping the strategy of the national economy development, the sectoral structure must meet the principles of optimality and equilibration.
