Skrypko V. Treatment of acute intestinal obstruction

Object - acute intestinal obstruction (AIO): development of endotoxicosis, status of bowel and liver in experiment; purpose - to improve of patients with AIO treatment results by studying and correction of endogenous intoxication, metal enzymes spectrum, functional status of liver, morphologic features of liver and bowel and creation of complex treatment algorithm; methods - general clinical, biochemical, atom-absorption spectrophotometry, morphological, experimental , statistical; novelty - the data of early polyorganic dysfunction' formation in patients with AIO were specified. The scientific data of microelements and metal enzymes homeostasis disturbances, what correlate with enteric failure gravity and caused of endotoxicosis growth, microbial activity and antioxydative protection changes, were supplemented. The criteria of early diagnostic of functional liver disturbances were developed: by measurement of organ-specific enzymes in blood serum. At first in experimental model of AIO we showed the stage of vitality of bowel depending of term of obstruction, what enables to define of resection size. We specified of resection bound of damaged part of bowel by own-made scale. Is proved, that meglumine sodium succinate in case of hypoxia and endogenous intoxication is effective medicine which promotes morphology and functional restoration of bowel and has desintoxication, anti-hypoxia, antioxidative and liver-protective activities, what prove it as pathogenetic medicine in patients with AIO.
