Onychshuk S. The impact of relations between the state and the church on the nation-building processes of Ukraine in the 20th - the early 21st centuries

The thesis research is devoted to the integrated theoretical and methodological grounding of the impact of relations between the state and the church on the nation-building processes of Ukraine in the 20th - the early 21st centuries. It touches upon research and practice conceptualization of the new partnership model of harmonization of these relations at the modern stage of functioning of Ukraine. Conceptual approaches aimed at studying the problematic issues of relations between the state and the church within the context of the nation-building processes have been examined; the evolution of the key political and philosophical concepts of relations between the state and the church as the background for classification of relations models between the state and the church in Ukraine in the 20th - the early 21st centuries has been studied. Scientific and practical recommendations regarding harmonization of relations between the state and the church as well as the public administration system within the framework of legislative area have been developed; perspective directions of relations between the state and the church in the process of harmonization of international cooperation have been defined. The system of interaction between the state and the church in the area of overwhelming the Orthodox split and creation of the unique, Local Orthodox church in Ukraine have been depicted. The substance of the partnership model between the state and the church at the present nation-building stage of Ukraine has been discovered.
