Shatalovych O. The idea of a family in the metaphysical dimension (historical and philosophical reconstruction).

The object is the idea of the family as a part of the ontology of culture. The aim is the historical and philosophical reconstruction of the idea of the family in the metaphysical dimension. The methods are historical and philosophical, metaphysical, dialectical, symbolic, transcendental, existential, phenomenological, hermeneutic, semiotic, structural, system-synergy, paradigmatic. The thesis presents the author's conceptual historical and philosophical ideas of the reconstruction of the family in the context of the formation of three historical modes of metaphysics. In the framework of the ontological mode of (the metaphysics of Aristotle) four reasons of a family (formal, material, current moment, target-making) have been reconstructed; therefore, a family has been analyzed as an entity with the essence and metaphysical absolute of a family having been defined. In the framework of the epistemological modus (the metaphysics of Kant) it has been studied transcendental conditions of cognizing family in ancient philosophies and modern scientific tradition. Within the anthropological modus (the metaphysics of M. Heidegger, N. Berdyaev, K. Jaspers) existential, intersubjective, intuitive, linguistic, communicative and semiotic aspects of the metaphysical understanding of the family have been reconstructed. Historical metamorphism of family life in the context of both substantialism and processualism metaphysics has been analyzed. Current crisis and the opposition of the modernist concept of the family prove to express the essence of two main metaphysical lines running through the history of philosophy - Parmenides and Heraclitus ways.
