Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the reaserch of literary anthology as a genre and an anthologization as a process of the formation of reader communities, united by common cultural memory, values, and imagery. A moving of theoretical attention from a text to a collection opens a new approach to the history of modern Ukrainian literature: from the formation of national tradition and canon in the 19 c. to the challenge of postmodernism, posttotalitarianism, and postcolonialism of the late 20 – early 21 c.
