Essay

The topicality of the thesis research is determined by the need for scientific understanding of the sociological perspective of changes in the structural and organizational design of religious life that are happening in conditions of social transformation, in line with the two mutually exclusive and, at the same time, complementary trends - secularization and revitalization of religious values. Having analyzed the intensification of the processes of social movements in recent decades and the revitalization of traditional Ukrainian churches abroad, Ukrainian context of the study involves not only analysis of what is happening in post-Soviet Ukraine, but also of what is happening outside its territorial boundaries, in the cells of Ukrainian migrants of the "fourth" wave. This raises the key concept of organizational form - as a way of arranging the interaction of individuals within social systems, depending on the type of social relationships that lie at its core. This approach impels to substantive isolation and the inclusion of some changes in research of social structure and social relations organizational forms of religious life, though it has not been used in sociology yet. The availability of this scientific problem, which lies in the existence of contradictions in the practices in the field of cognitive research of structural and organizational aspects of religious life, defines an objective need for the development of the concept.
