Essay

The thesis based on analysis of psychological and educational literature reveals complex of concepts and scientific approaches in determining of the theoretical and methodological principles of research. Author characterizes the specific features of teaching the social-sciences disciplines to the students of technical universities. The basic principles and components of methodical system of teaching the social-sciences disciplines to the students of technical universities were grounded. The situation in popular practice of teaching was found and also the criteria, indicators and levels of the social-science competence of the future engineers were defined. An efficiency of the author's methodical system of teaching the social-sciences disciplines to the students of technical universities was experimentally verified.
