Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to improvement of diagnostics and treatment effectiveness in various JRA subtypes, based on estimation of pathogenic role of misbalance in cytokine-receptor-agonist system in their formation, and development of algorithms for immunological investigations as well as a method of refractory to treatment disease course prediction. Algorithms for immunological verification of particular JRA subtypes and determination of various JRA activity grades were created. A digital Microsoft Excel-based software was elaborated for calculation of refractory to treatment JRA disease course formation, which enables automatic calculation of probable development of refractory to treatment JRA in a specific patient, based on established statistically significant risk factors of refractory to treatment JRA course at disease onset. For the first time in Ukraine monitoring of cytokines level in patients with systemic and polyarticular JRA subtypes during adalimumab and tocilizumab therapy was put into practice, and biological markers of effectiveness of the named therapy were discovered.
