Turchak O. Legal regulation of ethnic and social status and public activity of the Ukrainians in Poland in 1918-1939.

The dissertation deals with the comprehensive scientific research of legal regulation of ethnic and social status and public activity of the Ukrainians in Poland in 1918-1939 made on the grounds of the modern methodological approaches of historical and legal science, studying of scientific literature, legal documents and archival materials. It is investigated the organization of public authorities in Poland and making universally state program on national minorities and the Ukrainians in particular. It was established that in the basis of the political system of the Polish Republic laid the principles of broad territorial self-government; there was a three-way division of the state territory into provinces, districts and communes.
