Essay

The object is formation of intellectual culture of primary school pupils; the goal is to justify didactic fundamentals of formation of intellectual culture of primary school pupils in the educational process, to develop and test efficiency of realization of scientific and methodological support in the process; the methods are the following: analysis, comparison, synthesis, general scientific methods, empirical methods, mathematical statistics; the novelty is that the essence and particular features of culture of intellectual activity of primary school pupils have been defined for the first time; a system of scientific and methodological support of formation of intellectual activity culture of primary school pupils has been developed, theoretically grounded and experimentally tested; the functions and structure of intellectual culture of primary school children in the learning process have been specified. The main results and conclusions of the thesis are development and testing educational and training support of the process of formation of intellectual activity culture of primary school pupils. The materials of the research can be used in the educational process of primary school while learning Math, Logic; in a vocational training program for primary school pupils; in the extracurricular activities of primary school pupils; in the prevention and correction programs of deviations of cognitive development of primary school pupils, in school psychological services; in higher educational establishments during pedagogical, methodological courses in training primary school teachers, social workers, psychologists, teachers organizers, in the system of postgraduate education to improve the quality of teaching staff training; the scientific branch is education.
