Essay

The object of the study – the national and cultural identity in a globalizing world; the subject of the study - national and cultural identity in the Slobidska Ukraine cultural space; the purpose - to study the mechanisms of formation of the Slobidska Ukraine national cultural identities and their existence in the modern globalized world; the methods and approaches - a complex methodological approach that involves the use of the following methods: the analytical method (to determine the theoretical and methodological principles and conceptual apparatus of research); the method of abstraction (to analyze the classification and characteristics of national and cultural identities), the method of cultural modeling (to indentify the four major philosophical and cultural ideal types the Slobidska Ukraine identities that present historical and cultural contexts are implemented as current models of identity (baroque, romantic, modern and postmodern)), structural and semiotic method (to analyze the architecture, painting, literature and anthropological dimension of civil society), the comparative method (for historical and cross-cultural comparison of Ukrainian and Russian culture), hermeneutic analysis (to find out the specifics of Ukrainian avant-garde and its philosophical foundation) methodology of visual studies, structural and typological analysis; the novelty - a philosophical and anthropological substantiation of the basic models of and regional identity on the example the Slobidska Ukraine culture, due tradition, spirituality and identity in the Slobidska Ukraine national semiotic and symbolic cultural space; the results – can be applied in further philosophical and anthropological studies, used as a material for lecture and seminar courses in the humanities disciplines as well as to develop special courses on anthropological, cultural and linguistic issues; the branch of science – philosophical anthropology, philosophy of culture
