Essay

The dissertation presents the sociological study of a civil society in the unity of its discourses and practices in the context of contemporary global and of the transformation processes in Ukraine. Theoretical and methodological approaches to the sociological conceptualization of a civil society are elaborated. The peculiarities of the institutionalization of the civil society in Ukraine and the prospects for its development after the 2013-2014 Euromaidan are analyzed.
