Essay

The dissertation is focused on the characteristics of neuropsychological status, clinical, biochemical, hemodynamic, neuroimaging parameters in primary, moderate and severe stages of cognitive deficit еvaluation in patients of all age groups with dyscirculatory encephalopathy and metabolic syndrome and determination of the efficacy of cholinergic, glutamatergic and antidepressant therapy. Based on the complex clinical neurological and neuropsychological examination of 503 patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy (with and without metabolic syndrome) peculiarities of cognitive changes depending on the severity of the deficit (from pre-mild cognitive impairment to the development of dementia) and depressive disorders in patients of all age groups were established. The relationship between biochemical, hemodynamic, neuroimaging and cognitive parameters in patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy and metabolic syndrome with cognitive disorders was established, depending on the severity of cognitive impairment and patients' age.
