Essay

Object of study – theory and practice of psychotherapeutic care in somatogenic disorders. Purpose of study: to find sanogenetic psychological mechanisms of influence and efficiency of a modern person-centered psychotherapy of somatogenic disorders in patients with chronic somatic diseases (on the model of gastrointestinal diseases). Methods: theoretical and methodological analysis; logical and historical reconstructive analysis; clinico-psychological analysis; comparative analysis; modeling experiment; catamnestic method; mathematical-statistical methods. Scientific novelty: the study found that various psychotherapeutic approaches, though drop down indicators characterizing secondary neurotic symptoms in patients with chronic medical conditions, have almost no influence on the degree of severity of personal negative emotional states induced by the chronic desease. Only combined psychopharmacotherapy reduces symptoms, improves frustration tolerance and weakens maladaptive behaviors contributing to the achievement of a stable emotional condition. Practical significance: developed and justified phasing of psychotherapeutic intervention in somatogenic disorders. the full scope of which includes 6 stages: motivation; actualization of faith in recovery; intensification of lifestyle; emotional sedation; correction; support changes. Implementation effect: high. Scope of application: institutions of higher education, psychological services.
