The thesis is devoted to the formation of methodological fundamentals of design and application of information technology of colour printing based on the development of methods of digital processing of publishing originals and new con-cept of colour synthesis on the stage of prepress processes.A generalised analytical model of colour synthesis on an imprint has been designed, based on Nyberg-Neugebauer equations and base vectors of printing inks for a new and traditional technology of colour printing.
