Objekt: a set of Latin verse and prose literary works of different genres of the XV-XIXth centuries. Aim: a comprehensive overview of the Latin segment in Ukrainian literature. Methods: textological, historical-literary, historical-comparative, hermeneutical, descriptive, historical-typological, historical-functional. Scientific novelty: at first in the literary science the research provides a comprehensive overview of the Latin segment in Ukrainian literature, involving text that have not been an object of the scholarly scrutiny before; suggests criteria for determining cultural heritage affiliation of the Latin-speaking authors of the XV-XIXth century. Approved in 39 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
