Essay

The thesis is devoted to the studies of modern hydrometeorological conditions of the Azov and Black seas using the number of main indices with the accent on their long-term changes basing on the observations of the seashore hydrometeorological network and oceanographic data bases. Main climatic changes of the meteorological regime are manifested in the wind ac-tivity weakening, general tendency of the air temperature rise and also precipitation en-hancement. Hydrological regime changes appear in the surface water temperature rise, mi-tigation in ice conditions, sea level growth and sea surface salinity reduction. Using the factor, regression and spectral analysis methods the structure and main factors of a long-period variability of hydrometeorological conditions were studied in the comparison with informative global climatic indices for the Ukrainian Black Sea coast as a single geographic object. For the first time on the field data the relative contribution of global and regional factors to the interannual and climate variability of hydrometeorological regime was computed. The ratio of different kinds of variability (linear trend, low-frequency quasi-periodic variations and high-frequency interannual fluctuations) in total dispersion of mean annual and five-year meteorological and hydrological values was determined.
