Essay

Object of research: public regulation in the sphere of advertising activity. Objective: justification and development of theoretical and methodological bases of formation and implementation of mechanisms of public regulation in the sphere of advertising activity. Methods: analysis, synthesis, heuristic, typological, facet analysis, inductive and deductive cognition, historical, content analysis, systematic, economic and mathematical analysis, logical modelling, structural decomposition. Results: theoretical and methodological bases have been substantiated; scientific and applied recommendations concerning formation and implementation of mechanisms of public regulation in the sphere of advertising activity have been developed. Novelty: the model for the unification of mechanisms of public regulation in the sphere of advertising activity has been scientifically substantiated and developed; directions of transformation of the institutional mechanism of public regulation in the sphere of advertising activity have been improved; the conceptual basis of public regulation in the sphere of advertising activity has been further developed, etc. The results have been implemented in the activities of Kharkiv Regional Centre of Social Services for Families, Children and Youth, Department of sporting image projects and marketing of Kharkiv City Council, Department of Culture and Tourism of Kharkiv Regional Public Administration and the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine. Areas of use: public authorities and local self-government.
