Essay

The research is devoted to the actual problem of learning of "Zhinka"- universal Ukrainian edition - language, its cultural and informational and value-axiological content. For the first time in Ukrainian linguistics, a concept study of the printed media in the context of cultural linguistics and mediastylistics was proposed. The distinctive features of mass media content, media text, media genre were grounded. The hierarchy and signs of media genres for journalistic, official-business, address-reference, advertising and aesthetic subcontents of "Zhinka" magazine in mid-twentieth century - the first decades of the XXI century were established; lexical-phraseological, textual, functional and stylistic and intentional criteria for their differentiation were defined. Examining of linguo-cultural and genre-stylistic content of the "Zhinka" magazine of the middle XX - the first decades of the XXI century demonstrated the versatility of the information content of the publication, as determined in publishing editorial policy and socio-cultural demands of the community.
