Essay

The research work studies the solution of the future problems with the ethnic design specialists' education in higher art educational establishments. The essence of the research subject key concepts, i.e. "ethnic design", "ethnic stereotype", "ethnic identity", is clarified. The conceptual research bases are provided by the steady development concept. The selection of the author's program, study and methodic ethnic design provision thematic blocks is based on the steady development concept, the complementarity of the ecologic, economic, social and cultural components of the concept. The main ethnic design development sources are specified.
