The object is the novels "Churaevy" by G. Grebenshchikov, "Behind the thistle" by P. Krasnov, "Sidorov's learning", "They lived well in St. Petersburg ", "Little devil under the table","Fuga'' by V. Krymov, "Living souls", "Life plays" by A. Rennikov, "Father's house. Family Chronicle " by Y. Chirikov; the stories "The dictator of the world" by A. Rennikov, "For the dead souls" by S. Mintslov; the storybook "Uncalled vikings" by A. Rennikov; the goal is to determine the forms of inheritance and transformation of the narrative prose fiction in the belles-lettres of the Russian emigration of the 1920s - 1930s; the methods are descriptive, comparative and typological, structural and functional, genetic, intertextual analysis; the novelty is in the fact that for the first time the fiction of that time is seen in the aspect of the continuation and transformation of traditions of narrative prose, the problematics and poetics of the narrative prose are characterized, the forms of the tradition assimilation of the family novel-сhronicle are described in the fiction of G. Grebenshchikov; the features of the novel with a key in the novel V. Krymov "They lived well in St. Petersburg", features of the genre of the psychological novel, the novel of the writer and Utopia trilogy V. Krymov "For the millions" and the novel "Fuga" are marked; the place of the Russian emigration fiction of the 1920s - 1930s in the literary process of the time is established; results are the understanding of fiction as the works of the "middle" of the field of the Russian emigration literature of the 1920s -.1930s is grounded, the basic forms of inheritance traditions as characteristics of its poetics are established, the existing ideas about the laws of the evolution of the genre structure of narrative prose and mechanisms of actualization in fiction are refined; the branch is philology.
