The work presents the conception of axiophraseme pragmatics as a new research area in Ukrainian linguistics, suggests the linguistic portrait of evaluation in an axiological paradigm and outlines the evaluative component of phraseme meaning. It also describes the evaluation implementation in phrasemics of single-structured and multi-structured languages in semantic ranges of good - bad, to approve - not to approve, to satisfy - not to satisfy, valuable - not valuable, to interest - not to interest, to maintain - to deny, to comply with - not to comply with.
