Essay

The complex approach to the transformation of political institutions in transitional societies, where the main attention is given to the form of government and party system, including the capacity of the state and constitutional process, is conceptualized. Four main approaches to the study of institutions within new institutionalism (economic, theory of rational choice, historical (cultural), social and political, structural) are defined and their interpretation the sources of institutional changes are analyzed.
