This Dissertation is devoted to the study of interpersonal conflict in the structure of the Ukrainian language. Different approaches to the typology of interpersonal conflict and conflict communication were summarized. The essence of conflict communication and its main features were clarified. The entry point was the interpretation of the scientific analysis of the concept of "conflict communication" defining its place in the conflictological and linguistic systems. For the first time in Ukrainian linguistics an analysis was carried out of conflict communication as a communicative occurrence. The occurrence was studied as a special type of interaction between individuals. It was noted to take place by means of language representation of the discrepancy in the interests, views, and positions of the parties involved in the conflict; which reflects the differences in communication purposes and communicative roles of the sender and the recipient.
