Object - the process of institutionalization of environmental safety in the system policy of sustainable development; goal - the development and study of theoretical and methodological foundations of institutionalization of ecological safety of Ukraine and its regions in the system policy of sustainable development; methods - abstract logical synthesis, systems analysis, problem oriented statistical analysis and mathematical economic modeling and forecasting, institutional, graphics and maps; results - revealed conceptual scientific approaches to the institutionalization of environmental safety in the context of policy sustainability, proposed and justified principles, principles, methods and mechanisms of overcoming institutional deformations in the system of guaranteeing environmental security for sustainable development set out strategic priorities, suggestions, model and forecast ecological safety based on the conceptual framework, principles and scenarios that can form the basis of specific safety management measures; novelty - a set of theoretical, methodological and applied results, conclusions and suggestions, which is a new important scientific problem solving - development of theoretical and methodological foundations and scientifically based recommendations for institutionalizing environmental safety in the system policy of sustainable development; introduced into economic practice.
