Essay

Object of study - sexually transmitted infections, HIV. The aim of study - to create an effective system of measures to provide medical and preventive care for patients with sexually transmitted diseases and their rehabilitation in groups vulnerable to HIV infection, to curb HIV/AIDS in Ukraine. Methods: clinical methods, methods of epidemiological analysis, immunofluorescence, immunoenzyme, molecular biological, biochemical methods, immunological methods, bacterioscopic and bacteriological research, questioning, statistical methods. Dissertation is devoted to the establishment of measures to curb the HIV / AIDS epidemic in Ukraine. It were detected most common STIs among vulnerable groups (trichomoniasis, chlamydia, viral infection, candidiasis, bacterial vaginosis). The combination of HIV with syphilis leads to poor immunity. STI diagnosis with rapid tests, screening for Trichomonas vaginalis using bacterioscopic research and rapid immunoassay test for syphilis is recommended. The correlation between viral load of HIV and HPV infection is observed. The high efficiency (84 %) of imiquimod 5 % cream in the treatment of genital warts in HIV-infected individuals is established. It was proposed changes to national protocols STI considering vulnerable groups, recommendations for counseling and testing of this persons, a local protocol for STI detection among psychoactive substances users. Results of the study are introduced into the practice of MI "Zaporizhzhia Regional Dermatovenerological Clinical Dispensary" of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, MIHC Regional clinical Dermatovenerological Dispensary number 1 (Kharkiv), Poltava Regional Clinical Dermatovenerological Dispensary, MI "Odessa Regional Dermatovenerological Dispensary", MIHC "Regional Center of Prevention and Fight against AIDS" (Kharkiv), SE "Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of NAMS of Ukraine", as well as in the educational process of the Department of Dermatovenerology and HIV/AIDS of Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.
